A great all rounder mushroom strain being that it will grow throughout the year with colors varying based on environmental conditions. Colder temperatures will result in deeper and more vibrant shades of blue, whilst warmer climates will produce lighter blues and greys and will finally turn white once mature.
Mother of Pearl has an interesting growth pattern, when pinning it grows into an orb shape with caps pointing in every direction, as it matures the cap will turn upward.
When mature, caps become slightly brittle so be careful when harvesting. It’s a great yielding strain with sweet flavors, perfect for farmers markets and production for your local chef
